Who I'm giving this gift and why?

This picture is for my girlfriend. We have our first anniversary today (9th Dec.)

It's quite difficult to explain, why exactly i want to give it to my one and only.
My brother said yesterday as he has seen this picture: "Ich like the picture. I like the idea behind, although it's a little bit grotesque and macabre. It shows clearly, that love destroys the heart slowly."
Oh... hmmm... Wow. He said the opposite of what I wanted to say with this picture.

Maybe... you must know the "story" behind our relationship to understand, why this art doesn't show a destroying heart.
I know my girlfriend for about 2 years now.
We were only friends first, but the love grows inside us.
There is only one big problem: she's from germany... and I live in austria.

On 9th Dec 2013 we decided to come together. She loves me, I love her. More than my own life.
It's hard to be far apart from each other. You need a lot of trust to your partner and strength. You can't see your other half every day... or every week. You miss your partner...
And the longer you can't see your girlfriend the more harder it gets...
We argued a lot in the last few months. I cried more than once.
But I don't want to be without her anyway. She's wonderful and perfect and our love too precious.

I also have a necklace with this key. I got it from her as a gift. It's the key to her heart and I'm the only one, who gets the love inside...

---------

Yeah... sorry for my bad english, guys. >_< It's late night. I'm tired and very stressed because of school.
I tried my best.... Really. :|
